I am the mother of six busy, fun wonderful kids (one we unoffically adopted last December). When I was pregnant with baby #5 (six years ago), I decided I needed something to preserve my sanity. So I started writing. What a FABULOUS idea! My writing has transported me to whole new worlds, testing my patience and determination. I love it.
My hubby and I celebrated our 20th anniversary this summer by cruising to Alaska with 7 other awesome couples. We kayaked with whales, took pics of bald eagles, and screamed ourselves hoarse pointing out dolphins behind the ship. Great stuff to share with friends and family and hopefully squeeze into a book someday!
Some of my faves: playing with my kids, swimming, running through sprinklers, snuggling my cat, reading, playing piano, watching meteor showers, eating chocolate, going places I've never been before (especially with my hubby!)
It is so funny because knowing you and Amanda the way that I do, I would say that you are 2 very different people. I would guess that is why she is so in love with her mother. But I read how you described yourself (under the picture of you and Matt) and that is so Amanda! Who says that opposites attract....they don't know what they are talking about! And apparently neither do I because you 2 are very much alike, I guess :) It kinda makes sense though now that I think about it. I always thought that Amanda felt things differently...in so many ways...like the way she played her music and such. Reading your entries on this blog reminds me of how she plays.
