Amazing Ms. Kizzy

This week I joined my daughter's fifth grade class for a tour of the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa. Our incredible guide, 70-year-old Ms. Kizzy, trotted us up and down corridors, sharing details about Inuits and pottery, wisdom and life. Her zest no doubt inspired a whole new generation of museum enthusiasts.

She reminded me of my college Biology professor who was so excited about fungus that he made the topic fascinating. Who knew I’d enjoy learning about the icky green stuff that grows on my bread?

From time to time, I come across a person so vibrant, so fully invested in life, that mere contact with them is revitalizing. Who has inspired or energized you and how?
